Binaural Tones

What is a Binaural Tone?

Binaural beats, also known as binaural tones, are sounds that can alter your brainwaves. A binaural tone is
made when two tones with a small difference are presented separately to the left and right output of a
stereo headphone. When you would listen to it you will hear a beating tone. This is created by the brain
itself and cannot be found technically.

What can a Binaural Tone do for you?Wouldn’t it be great if you were master of your thoughts, instead of a
slave to them?

So, for instance, when you want to be chilled out and relaxed, you can gently stop yourself from worrying about
work. Or, if you need to be super-focused on the task at hand, you can quit dreaming about the weekend and
harness all your mental resources to help you.

Well, you can. Not by effort, not by willpower, not by hypnosis … but by simply listening to a special CD.

For years scientists have understood the relationship between audio frequencies and brainwave patterns and
how to induce certain states of mind by listening to certain sounds. They call these sounds ‘Binaural Tones’
or ‘Binaural Beats’. Now, thanks to the new range of Binaural Tone CDs at you can use
this amazing technology to create whatever state of mind you wish.

So, for instance you can use the ‘Digital Drug’ CD from to create a feeling of euphoria and
‘oneness’ with the world; the ‘Ultra-Deep Meditation’ CD to reach the same meditative states it take gurus
and Tibetan monks years to master; or the
Razor Sharp Focus CD to make your mind as concentrated as a
laser beam.

Making Your Own Binaural Tones :o

When making your own binaural tone, you mainly need knowledge. Through my articles and blog I will try and give you as much information as I can, but always keep your eyes and ears open for other information.

When you listen to a specific tone for a specific time you will get into a specific state. It is important to get the exact tone and timeline correct to achieve maximal effect.  This is allready done when you buy a binaural tone, but when you start to make them yourself it is highly recommended to first do the proper research. You don’t want to listen to a tone and end up with a headache now would you?

A quick overview of the different waves and their functions:

> 40 Hz – Gamma waves – Higher mental activity, including perception, problem solving, fear, and consciousness.

13-40 Hz – Beta waves – Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration, arousal, cognition.

7-13 Hz – Alpha waves – Relaxation (while awake), pre-sleep and pre-wake drowsiness.

4-7 Hz – Theta waves – Dreams, deep meditation, REM sleep.

< 4 Hz – Delta waves – Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness.

Once you know the basics and have listened to many different types of binaural tones, you have to start creating your own binaural tones. This can be quite challenging. If you have just started venturing in the binaural world then don’t worry about this yet. First enjoy the results of a few binaural tones, you can pick them up from here.

Good Luck
